Institute Of Chartered Accountants In England And Wales

They supervise and monitor over 12,000 firms, holding them, and all ICAEW members and students, to the highest standards of professional competency and conduct.

The ICAEW Business Advice Service (BAS) are firms of chartered accountants, regulated by the ICAEW who provide free initial consultations and offer trusted business advice.

Chartered accountants are rigorously trained in advising businesses and provide high quality, professional services.

The word ‘accountant’ is not a protected title so there are unregulated parts of the industry that may not uphold the same standards as ICAEW chartered accountants.
